Service Drops

TAK Communcations’ National Drop team are scaled to support the “last mile” of your customer’s network with coax or fiber to the home or business. This can be done through underground trenching and boring, or by utilizing aerial utility or telephone poles, along with other related services. Some key highlights of our capabilities include:

  • Service drop placement: The team is responsible for placing the service drop that connects your customer’s premises to the nearest utility pole or underground utility box, enclosure, or pedestal.
  • Our teams are trained and experienced in support splicing activities at the network access point and on premise for both fiber and coax architectures.
  • Our teams will work to collaborate with on premise and “Fulfillment” teams to identify the right entry point to a property to ensure the cleanest and most effective network deployment.

Our field teams can support larger customer scale by ensuring that the fiber and coax drop team have the necessary resources, training, and support to perform their work efficiently and safely. Our field team can work large volume deployments and are supported by a robust operational team with the resources to be successful. This can include providing the team with the necessary tools and equipment, ensuring that they have access to up-to-date training and safety protocols, and providing them with logistical support to help them manage their workload and meet customer demands.

On Premise & Fulfillment Services

TAK Communications Fulfillment Team, also known as on premise installation, supports the installation of equipment and wiring within a customer’s home or business. This can include tasks such as on premise wiring, device installation, and ensuring a focus on customer experience. Some key highlights of our team's role include:

  • Premise Wiring: Our team strives to provide the highest level of customer service in the customers home or business with a focus on the most efficient and effective on-premises wiring deployment to ensure that all necessary connections are in place for the installation of equipment and services.
